Octomore has had a second release of its 10-year-old whisky. Heavily peated to 167ppm this has been aged in a combination of bourbon barrels and Grenache-wine casks. Richly smoky, but balanced, this has notes of salted caramel, marzipan, vanilla and malted bread.
