This is the third release in Laphroaig's The Ian Hunter Story. Following on from Book 1 and Book 2, Book 3 is a 33 year old Islay single malt, which enjoyed its lengthy maturation in ex-bourbon casks. The series honors and celebrates the impact that Ian Hunter, the last member of the Johnston family to own and manage Laphroaig Distillery, had on the distillery. Plus, this bottling comes in a presentation box which is shaped like a book, and that's always presentable.
