This IWAI Tradition is made from a base of 2 to 5 year old distilling's at the family distillery in Nagano and matured in ex-Bourbon, ex-sherry and American Oak Casks before being finished for four months in rare Japanese Chestnut Oak Casks. This whisky has warming notes of licorice, pipe smoke, dark chocolate, preserved cherries and buckwheat honey.
