I have ordered from several sites online that are closer in location than Ca. These guys were able to fill my order on 2 great bourbons that are hard to find in SC. In the past I got a phone call stating they were out and the site had not been updated. I got confirmation in 24 hours and delivered 2 bottles for $23 in shipping. I've paid that for 2 from Fla. I ordered 2 750ml bottles of bourbon and received the order a few days later. It was professionally packaged without damage. Upon placing the order, I received an e-mail statement including a UPS tracking number. The order was received as expected.
Oaks Liquors was the first time I had ordered spirits online and I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. It was. Prompt and professional service at a fair price - how much better can it really get?

My father-in-law and I are always trying to see how much peat we can stand in our whisky, and we had already sampled Bruichladdich's Octomore 7.1. Then he learned that Octomore 6.3 was even more peaty, but it's simply not something we could get locally and online searches mostly turned up UK vendors.
OaksLiquors was one of just a few in the US that carry it for purchase online. The reviews for their physical store in CA were really good so I decided to go with them for our order. It shipped within two or three days of placing the order and arrived with no issues on the East Coast.
I'd definitely purchase from here again, assuming I don't blow myself out with the peat from the whisky when I try it.
