I was trying to get a hard-to-find bottle and I finally did. Was getting it for Xmas so I chose next day shipping. Oak Liquors called me and noted that both of us are in CA so the expedited shipping was a waste of money. They changed my shipping to a less expensive option and it still got here in time. They didn't need to do this but they took the time because it was the right thing to do and in the process got a customer for life.

I love this liquor store. I've only ordered online but hope to visit in person one day. When all this COVID mess is under control I would love to sit and enjoy a dram and a cigar. Their shipping is extremely fast for me. I have ordered a bottle from them on Monday and was sipping on that bottle by Wednesday. Shipping, customer service, packaging all top notch. My package arrived swiftly and in great condition. It is obvious how much care your shop takes when preparing a bottle for shipment! I cannot wait to see my boyfriend's face when he opens his gift.
(As an aside, I stayed home all day last Friday because the package required an adult signature. When Fed Ex arrived at 3:20 pm, they left the package on my porch with no signature. Gone before I even opened my door! That disappointed me in Fed Ex, not your shop.)

You guys have a fantastic selection but doing business was interesting to say the least. Two of my orders were wrong and I returned a $500 dollar bottle of scotch that was for another customer. I was then guilt tripped and up-charged on my replacement order. I appreciate your honesty on having the prices wrong on your website and still allowing me to purchase the bottles but I already did you a huge favor. I would have appreciated you holding true to your prices in this instance. I am still happy with my purchases but will call ahead an confirm inventory and bottles being shipped before placing another order.

The service of purchasing, and delivery of product quickly was spot on. However, I bought this as a gift. When I opened the box, a strong nicotine smell hit me fast. The box was saturated in it and the bottle was sticky. I had to wash the bottle and could not use the box. We are not smokers as you can tell. Just a future FYI. Keep product in area not smoked in. Thank you.
