Distillery: Tullibardine Distillery
Tullibardine is an hour north of Edinburgh or Glasgow heading towards Perth. Tullibardine was originally a brewery and has history leading back until 1488 when King James IV purchased beer from the brewery which stood on the site that Tullibardine Distillery now stands. In 1947 the brewery was converted into a distillery and produced spirit for the first time in 1949. Tullibardine was mothballed in 1994 and re-opened in 2003. Tullibardine now produces around 3 million litres of alcohol a year.
